Annotation The dissertation deals with the issue of attention development and performance motivation in young people with hearing impairments during the period of adolescence through a special interventional movement program. Within the framework of the methodology of the work, the basic empirical procedure was chosen through a simple experiment. The established hypothesis that the level of attention and performance motivation in the experimental group of young people with hearing impairment will be increased due to the intervention programme has been confirmed. The research confirmed the assumption that self-defense or its foundations together with psychomotors have a clear influence on the development of attention and performance motivation in a selected group of adolescents with hearing impairment.
